I’ve been trying to describe my changing style to friends, and I keep struggling to put it in the right words. I’m not sure if it’s just a normal reaction to all of the heavy ornamentation we’ve seen in design since the early 2000s, but I’m really ready for something cleaner and simpler, without heavy detailing. Mjölk is one of my go-to shops when I’m looking for something simple (their mantra is “pure, honest, and essential”). These pieces have been on my wishlist for a while, and today, I’m trying to decide whether to bite the bullet and order some or just let them go. Either way, I thought I’d share my wishlist-purging process. Every month, my desktop folder fills with things I’d like to own, and then every month, I delete them all and start over. But if I had an extra $300 to spend on a knife holder, man, that sucker would be mine. Click here to check out Mjölk’s full selection of products. xo, grace

Goodness! I love those wooden mugs! I love the softness and warmth as well as the graceful contour lines of the wood grain! Thank you for sharing!

These are just beautiful, wood had such a cosy feel, loving the wooden mugs with the two finger holes, even more comforting with tea in it!x

Seeing ‘kuksa’, our beloved wooden mugs from Lapland as a design product is such an honour! We grew up with these and I still take one with me when I travel. There are long traditions related to these mugs.

I couldn’t agree more. simple design is more appealing to me now than ever before. there is just something so refreshing about a clean, well designed piece that has a timeless heirloom quality. these pieces look as though you would save them and pass them on to your children…lovely find grace
