I’m not sure why, but I’m drawn more and more to work that reminds me of animation and cartoons. Perhaps it’s part of the 90s nostalgia/revival going on, but I feel like I’m in middle school all over again, collecting ‘zines and scooping up old comics and graphic novels. No matter what the reason, I’m glad to have this style back in my life again. When I first saw the prints above, I immediately thought about one of my other favorite things: The Fox is Black. Aside from being one of the raddest sites on the block, Bobby’s blog will always be the reason I know what the word “Kitsune” means (it’s the Japanese word for “Fox”). These prints are part of a new collaborative poster series with illustrations by Alex Pearson, Julian Baker, Scott MacDonald and Andy Young. These are my favorites, but you can check out the full set right here ($25 each). xo, grace

Really nice illustrations. Love them.
These also remind me of cute little tiki paintings. I especially like the one of the koi.
Love it! Such neat and fun illustrations
