fall/winter collection from rowen & wren

I’m super fair skinned — to the point that I’ve been teased about my ghostly complexion all my life — and I think this has played a role in why I relish the time of year when it becomes socially acceptable to swathe myself in blankets and sweaters. To reiterate: I love fall. The autumn/winter collection from the UK-based shop Rowen & Wren is full of pieces that encapsulate everything I love about the season: warm, muted tones; textural wools; and plenty of dark, moody details. These represent some of my favorites, but there are may more gems where these came from. For more information and to check out the rest of the new collection, click here. — Kate

Kate, you have my heart a little with this one. I’m one of the super-fair-skinned, never-gonna-tan type as well, and I LOVE the colors that come alive for fall and winter.

The pillow in the last picture is gorgeous!

The “Distant home” collection from this company has me drooling! The neutral yet dramatic colour palette…gorgeous! And those alphabet/bird prints…I have a thing for alphabets and this set is stunning!

your post made me totally laugh. i can completely sympathize — my friends make fun of me all the time for being so pale, too. haha.

From one pale-skinned girl to another, I’m totally with you on the fall love! It’s my favorite season of all. I covet that moorly wool blanket.

Join the club Kate, I’m ghostly pale as well. People actually don’t believe me when I tell them I’m from Israel and that my grandmother’s Moroccan – guess I inherited those European genes.

I absolutely love this collection; the colours, the textures, the patterns. It makes me quite envious that you’re heading into autumn on your side of the world!
