beacon collection by bark furniture

Speaking of London Design Week, bark furniture is launching a new collection called Beacon at Tent London. While I’ve been moving away from furniture with a mid-century feel in form and color palette for a while now, the chipper, friendly quality of these pieces is hard to deny. This may sound odd, but they feel like they’d be perfect for a modern dorm room. They have that simple, clean feeling that would be great to replicate in mass for a student population. I know I would have been much happier to have checked into college seeing this furniture rather than the metal hand-me-downs we had at W&M. Whether it’s in a modern dorm or a chic residential home, that wooden lamp and veneer shade are on my “super cute” list for sure. Click here for more info on the collection. xo, grace
