new from polli

While I was on the West Coast, I was happy to have the problem of not being able to buy furniture or larger pieces. There was no way to bring them home on the plane, so I found myself picking up little pieces here and there — mostly jewelry. Portland has an abundance of talented local jewelry designers, and now I’ve found myself with some beautiful pieces that need a pretty way to be displayed. I’ve never been a big jewelry-tree person, but Polli’s little folding jewelry holders inspired by row homes in Amsterdam are pretty adorable. They’d be great for the top of a dresser, but I’d love to try mounting them to a wall, too.

Polli also released some new jewelry that combines metal, thread and wood in clever ways. I love the playful wooden brooches and cufflinks. I know bikes have sort of become the new birds (Put a bike on it?), but they’d be fun to see poking out of a summer shirt’s cuffs. You can check out Polli’s new collections, shop online and find a stockist near you right here. xo, grace

I haven’t owned a jewelry tree since I was a girl. It was a hot pink plastic ladder with tiny holes all over the rungs for earrings. (I was most definitely a child of the ’80s). I love this grown-up version. Very stylish!

Is that an owl and cat pin? I loved that nursery rhyme as a kid! So cute!

I love these, but can’t actually get the website to work :(
