This weekend I bought my tickets to fly back to Brooklyn and I’m already starting to miss Portland. Aside from the amazing shops, restaurants, nature and people, I really loved how many ridiculously cute dogs I got to meet. Everyone here seems to have a dog they bring to work (or just around town during the day) and they all have been nice enough to let me play with or pet them while I go through serious cat-withdrawal. I’m not quite ready to get my own dog yet (I think Turk would have something to say about that), so I think this pillow is as close as I can get for right now. Adorable!! I *love* LOVE watercolor as a medium – probably because there’s not a prayer that I could ever be successfull at it…. there’s certainly no making a mistaking and painting over it like with acrylics or oils. This is such a pretty piece. (ESP for dog lovers!)
LOVE THAT PILLOW!!! I wonder if I could figure out a way to DIY it so it had the silhouette of my my dog on it…hmmmmmm…

The pillow is so cute! And the fact that it includes a schnauzer makes it even better. I’ve been looking for non-grannyish home decor items that include schnauzers. I may have to pick this pillow up!
