looking for: d*s special project sponsors

SF Print by Marisa Seguin at Etsy

Next week Amy and I are hopping on a plane and flying to San Francisco and Portland to work on a very last-minute passion project. We’re meeting up with our senior DIY editor, craft guru and Brimfield shopping buddy, Kate Pruitt to turn what started as a crazy idea inspired by NYC Design Week into a reality. This reality involves some last minute shoots, crafting and an entirely new medium for us. But when you’re all so excited about something at the same time, you have no choice but to dive in head first and do everything you can to make it happen.

So with that spirit we’re spending the next two weeks finishing up this special project that you’ll be able to find in select stores across the country in July. I can’t wait to tell you more details, but for now, we’re hoping to find a few key sponsors to join us in the process. We’re looking for 2-4 companies who will be able to join us for sponsorship amounts around $5k to $10k a piece (depending on the number of sponsors). Sponsors will be featured prominently in this project, which will have a presence at amazing shops and brick-and-mortar locations all across the US this summer. If you’re interested in partnering with us on this project please shoot me an email at GRACE at DESIGNSPONGE dot com this week and I can fill you in on the details.

Thanks again for your help and now back to our regularly scheduled content… xo, grace

See you in portland at the ace hotel! Woo hoo!

It should be a little nicer weather by next week here in Portland, hopefully. It’s Rose Festival right now in Portland, which can be both good and bad. Be sure to check the schedule so that you don’t get held up by ships coming in and raising the bridges, crowds at the parades, etc.

Have fun and be sure to spend some time on N. Mississippi St., N. Williams St., the Sellwood neighborhood in SE Portland, SE Belmont, E. Burnside….. so many!

What a great surprise to check on Design Sponge this morning and see this my work! Thanks so much for featuring my print, Grace, and I hope you guys have a blast in San Francisco and Portland!
