d*s on design matters (audio)

Good morning! Before we dive into our regular posts today, I wanted to share a link to the interview I did with Debbie Millman two weeks ago for her fantastic podcast, Design Matters. I cherish (and deeply miss) my time spent as a radio DJ in college, so to get back in the booth with such an experienced and gracious interviewer was an absolute honor. Debbie and I had one of the best conversations I’ve ever had during an interview and discussed everything from blog-writing standards and advertising to Phish and my tendency to hoard things. The interview was a really great chance to discuss some of the more serious (and light-hearted) aspects of what I do everyday with Design*Sponge, and I can’t thank Debbie enough for having me as a guest.

If you’d like to listen (or download) the interview, you can do so right here. xo, grace

I listened to this earlier today and was about to send you an email re: how inspiring it was to hear your voice. Great interview. Thoughtful conversation. You have a wonderful sense of humor. Best of luck in all that D*S has to come.

Love design matters and debbie! I haven’t listened to your episode because I save DM for when I’m most frustrated at work, to sooth and calm me.

Grace. That was so great. I know I’m just repeating what’s been said here, but that was seriously inspiring and I don’t toss that word around freely.
Thank you for your honesty. I’m about to make a big, risky change in my personal and professional life and your interview with Debbie was exactly the kind of story I needed to hear.
Also, it was great to hear about the evolution of d*s and your taste. I’ve had misgivings about what I see on here but I always come back. I now see that it’s because d*s is alive. I second what sam said: I’m so with you!
