hot or not: blinded by stripes?

Every now and then my internal style meter gets a little twitchy and can’t decide whether it should land on “cute” or “not cute.” When I saw this table by allĂȘ in my inbox, I was immediately thrown into a stripe frenzy and found myself prepping it for a post. But after my stripe-haze started to fade, I took a closer look at the table base and started having second thoughts. It reminds me, in a bad way, of those rainbow lollipops I used to get at Wythe Candy in Colonial Williamsburg. So now I’m not sure, and I need some help determining where I fall in this design dilemma. I think with a solid, simple base, I would love this, but I’m torn on how I like them combined. What do you guys think? Cute? Not so much? Better without the striped base? Do I just need to put down my stripe glasses and try to see more clearly? xo, grace

that was my immediate response, too, grace–if it had a sold color base (white? a nice dark wood?), i would be swooning but the base is allllmost a little too much. still, that top is just adorable!

Jess

Hmm, it’s WAY too much for me! Maybe with a solid colour on the base… even then it’s not something I would ever have in my home – I can see it in a cute ice-cream parlour, though!

Stephen Field

I personally like the piece. That is I design for the stage and I think it would work perfectly on stage for a show. I love the colors in it. I think it could work in an home with the right combination of colors. So I say: cute!

Lauren

I get overwhelmed by stripes also. But I’m thinking the opposite of what you’ve said. I think with a plain table top and the striped base it could make for a cute design for a ice cream shop or something fun like that. However, the way it is now is WAY too many stripes.

Anne

I kind of feel the same way about the table… but I know the candy store you are talking about. I grew up near Colonial Williamsburg, and my mom and I used to get passes every summer!

Mars

Too much for the eyes. I think.
Or maybe just the table top. I do like the shape of the base and the colors make everything look like candy!
Fan of Paul Smith? :)

Sticky Penguin

As a fellow stripe lover, I had an initial burst of excitement, but found I wanted to love it more than I actually did. It’s the idea more than the execution, and I think has a bit to do with the bobbled stem on the base, and the support somewhat resembling a sink plunger! Just all too much! With a chrome frame it might be much better…

Allison

Gonna have to say “not cute.” I agree with you though, with a simple solid color base, it’d be adorable. But there is just too much going on. DIY: buy to paint the base! Ha!

Cecile Blake

:) I think you are right Grace, it really is a bit too much. However, it depends how you use it, it could work in a very neutral space with a few pops of colour, or otherwise as you mentioned if the base was plainer…

Chris B-P

Either one or the other. Both the top and the base striped are too much.

Marj

LOVE! Lollipops are HAWT. and anything that looks like candy is awesome

Lesley

It is cute. A little much, but nonetheless cute. A kids’ room or somewhere in Key West is where I see it living best. :)

Jessie

I agree if the top or bottom was solid I would like it better. I do think its a conversation piece and very unique.

Brit

I think it is a little bit too much. I agree that with a solid base or top it would be awesome but together, visually, it is too much for me. I would think it would dominate any room it is in. Just my $0.02

Zoe | A Quick Study

I say NOT on this one, Grace! I do think it would be better with a simple base, but something about the set of colors themselves is also turning me off. Could be an interesting DIY project with a knockoff Saarinen table.

Landis Carey

Could it be the color palette is off? I think the yellow/orange accent is throwing me. Yellow or orange would be fine, but not together; maybe even separating the two hues with a gray stripe would be better.

Just the fact that I’m internally debating it means it’s not a great purchase for me. I would tire of it pretty quickly then be stuck with a table I didn’t purchase for the ages.

Brittany Jublou

Cute for candy or a little tots room. It actually makes me want to eat candy….hummm….and yes, Wythe candy shop rocks! =)

Camilla

I agree that it would look better with a solid base, I love the top.

(also, Colonial Williamsburg! *nostalgia*)

Cyndy

I do hate it, it would be very hard to actually put things on it.
Stripes gone bad.

Denise Laborde

I like a good stripe just as much as the next gal. But I’m going to have to go with “not so much” on this one. I like the stripes on the table top. It is the round shapes along the leg of the table that make it a no go for me. I should mention that I am no expert and this is just my gut speaking :)

renata

i guess it’d actually look better with a plain base but i think that it really depends on where we put this table, don’t you think? I imagine it looking awesome at some book store with library in, all walls white and different kinds of furniture… Don’t know, just making up pictures in my head :)

Bernie

I’m kinda the opposite, I like the striped base….cute, the top, not so much, its kind of mind numbing

Teranne

Actually, I think without the striped base it would just look like an easy cheap table makeover rather than a challenging artsy makeover. In the right place, especially if other aspects in the room were toned down, I think this table would be great!

katie f

not so cute… but maybe that’s just me. i’m leaning towards the tacky lollipop rather than the nostalgic one.

RebKnitz

I had the same reaction–looks like a jumbo swirly lollipop. I think this would be adorable in a high end ice cream parlor, but is otherwise just a little too much.

erin

I think it’s cute and playful! Kind of in a Jonathan Adler sort of way- not style-wise, but it just seems like it would be at home with one of his lovely white ceramics nearby.

Now, I can’t say that I could ever have this table in my own home, but I could get into it at somebody elses!

Beth

Cute in the right room. A mostly (other than the table) monochromatic room and with plain chairs.

Maria Black

I think the base does look like a lollipop in a bad way. Perhaps if it was only two color? Black and white or green and blue I could go for the current base. The top of the table is lovely.

Mi Ya

To me, the base Is too present (can I say this in english?) It takes all the attention of the watcher (Shiny + shaped like a serie of pearls + stripey is too much!)
I like the top and the choice of colors tough. Wouldn’t want it in my place without a change for the foot (shape or color. Probably color)

Janet

I like the top and hate the bottom. It needed to have a more sleek base.

Chrissy Raftery

for me its not just the stripes on the base, but the shape – i think that striped top would look great on some simple black bent metal legs.

juliette

maybe if it was the only thing in an empty room…otherwise I want either the top or the base to be solid-colored. It’s just too much stripe to actually put in a ‘real’ room.

Mina

The top is cute but the Norton is too much.
I have a similar table, minus the stripes, and have a hard time implementing it in my layout because of the shape.

I totally love the stripes but it’s not that cute.

Jewelry Assembly Chicks

not cute. I’d be interested in how it’s made. Is it painted in stripes? eh. Is it rows of laminated different colored woods or recycled plastic? Then I’d find some interest in it…..

Margaret

I think it’s cute in a kitschy way… my first thought was: FUN! It would definite have to be the right room as an accent – not as a dining table or anything.

fixermamma

personally: LUV! not for every decor, but in a fairly plain, bright white room, could be the perfect punch of color. In my house, it would make a great front entrance key/purse table, next to the fire engine red coat rack.

Amy

I see a cake platter… I agree with some of the other comments that if the base was solid- it would go a long way in making it a keeper.

Liza

It’s a little much, but I think it’s cute! It’d be perfect against a solid wall. Definitely would have to keep everything else a little calm :)

rachel

Sorry, girl. It’s fug to the max. Friends don’t let friends buy that table.

Kate

If the base were a solid color, it would lose all the fun of its shape. I’m a fan, mostly because of the color choices. If all the colors were garish, I wouldn’t like it all that much. It’s fun, lighthearted, and very cute.

LindseyBee

I’m going with CUTE IF used in certain ways– like actually AT a lollipop shop, candy shop, cute bakery, etc. IF it’s used in my home as my side table or to be placed in my living, Maybe not.

Either way, it’s quirky, fun, colorful, & you don’t always think about those elements in furniture, so I’d say Why Not & have fun with it:)

Jenn

Not cute. The base needs to GO. The stripes are not flattering on all of those curves. Also, I’m not crazy about the color combo… I think the pink needs to be ditched, minimum. The pink is what throws it over the lollipop cliff. Possibly nix the black, too. I like the idea of white/orange/gray x2.

I love color, I love pop, I love statement pieces… if they wanted a pop of color that didn’t look like bile, take one of the oranges and make it solid on the base.

Molly

Not cute. Cloying. Unsubtle…not that subtlety is always desired…but this hits you over the head. I’d tire of it quickly. Unless it’s a total bargain, that is. :-)

susan

fabulous in an cupcake shop – ice cream parlor OR maybe simply a room which is all white – where someone who needs a burst of color could live with it as a focal point.

it’s wild!

April

Agreed- if it has a solid white base it would be perfect for a whimsical kitchen. And I would say get rid of those orange stripes, but leave the pinks.

Morgan

I for one LOVE that it looks like a giant lollipop, and the base is actually my favorite part…I think where we live should be fun…so if you like it, don’t worry that it might be a tad silly. Silly is pure awesome…not to mention when you put stuff on top of it it’ll bring a whole new dimension to the table. Maybe do a color story of all white on top, or keep it reallllllly simple. I love it, good find.

Newly Domesticated

cute in a nursery, but otherwise, it totally looks like lollipops…you were dead-on with that one.

p.s. You should stop by Wythe next time you’re in the area…they’re closed until March because they’re completely renovating the store!

Kelly

I think you should make 2 new tables. Use the base with a plaine top, or maybe one of those synthetic knotty tops. And use the top on a plain base. Maybe white or black., nothing that would compete with the boldness of the stripes.

Em

I love the striped top, but I feel the bottom should be a solid color- one picked from the striped top. It could be any of the colors, really, and look cute, although I’d prefer the orange or cream. I like the way the stripes taper off on the rounded sides, but I feel that from the bottom of the table top down should be a solid color. If it was- or could be- it would be ace!

al

why not go over the top?
why not concentric circles for the tabletop as well, instead of stripes across?
as for the base: has anyone seen a base like this before? i haven’t.
for that reason alone, i dig its wackiness.
but i don’t want to see anything ON it, which defeats the whole table idea thing and turns it into what i call a “dustable”…

Chris

At first I was all for it as it was, then I read the comments. I think it would be much better if the top were a solid colour or a nice dark wood. I think the base is my favourite part of the table, while the striped top tosses is out of whack for me.

Jennifer Armour

Totally cute. Would a zebra look cuter with solid coloured legs? No way, Jose!

I think this piece would add that zesty whimsical flair to a neutral palette.

The base is spot on….or should I say ‘stripe’ on?

alice

Hahahha This is great. I had the same experience with a busily striped pillow just yesterday.. I could not for the life of me decide if I hated it or loved it! I knew it had to be one extreme. I didn’t buy it….. and definitely wouldn’t buy this table.

jilian

I think it’s the perfect punch piece for an otherwise solid fabric’ed room. A great bedside or chairside table in a bedroom, a great piece in a den or living room – where everything else is solids, miniprints, etc. For one bold statement, it’s good.

Jess

Ha! Grace, this post made me laugh out loud. I know just what you mean about that very fine line between beauty and hideousness. My first thought was “lollipop,” too. Delicious! To eat, though, not to have in my home.

lilian

I actually like the base, but I’d have a plain top. I can’t imagine staring at that top.

Cristina

Cute on a total white room, as a breakfast table on a white modern kitchen, candy shop and so, if not i also think it is a bit “too bold”.

Kristan

See, I was thinking the opposite: I would keep the base striped, and make the top solid. Then I think I would love it. As it is, it will depend a lot on the surroundings.

thebadcat

I love the colors, but it is a bit too much as a table. I’m actually teetering between the “Cute” and “Not so much”. I love the base…the top hmmm….It would hide crumbs from my kids, though…

Laura

I’d love it with a solid yellow top, in a nursery or kid’s room. It would look great sitting next to a brightly upholstered glider.

lindsey

Does anyone else remember seeing a similar table on Man Shops Globe when Keith went to Mexico? I believe that he decided not to carry it in Anthropologie, but it looked even more like a lollipop! It’s just too much, unless you’re going for an over-the-top space.

Charm School Press

I think the color palette is off and the width of the stripes is off. They need to either be thin enough so the colors blend together (red and white pinstripes look pink from far away) or so wide that you can’t miss they are stripes.

calli

I agree that there is a lot going on… I can see this piece acting as an accent in a very “solid” (in terms of color) room but mixed with other fun patterns and colors, I think it could only be pulled off in Willy Wonka’s Factory. I would love to see a raw wood top instead of the stripes all over, or visa versa with the base as the wood piece…

Sarah

I don’t love it. But then I felt bad for the designer, so I visited the website. They do have some other cool pieces. The striped sidebar seems cool, I think it’s the roundness combined with stripes that I don’t like. But I have sidebar fever right now so who knows.

Jenn

I think in the right house it would be great. I’d personally prefer a simpler silhouette rather than fewer stripes. (And I know exactly the lollipops you mean!)

Lojanka

I’m a total natural pallet girl, but I do LOVE this! SO much fun, you just want to start chewing on it!

Sasha K.

Not cute (even with a solid base). At least not for your home. I see this more as a table in an over-the-top ice cream shop.

Jennifer McGee

I love the stripe base…but I would prefer a solid color top.

The stripes on the top make me dizzy.

Beth

Hmm…it is much too much for say my living room, but I could totally see it in a child’s room!

Kari @thehandmadeevent

would be cuter if it was just the striped top or the striped base. One or the other would be fab. Together, they are a little overload. I appreciate the paul smith-like color palatte, but even he would go “um, that’s a whole lotta things”

Rachael

I love it! It’s a big statement and the design is very well executed. I loved it even more after reading the designer patented the manufacturing process. I don’t think I would like it as much if someone had just painted a table with stripes.

bridget

its too much for me, I probably would have liked it better if it wasn’t so glossy.

Sara

living near Colonial Wmburg, I’d say, yup, that’s a ringer for those lollipops! If the top was in concentric circle stripes, big wide ones to contrast with the busy base, I think it’d work. It’d be fun in an entry way….maybe?

Ray Ray

This would work well in a child’s room. The stripes might work better on a less decorative table… Simple shape with vibrant stripes.

Elizabeth

At first I thought I loved it, but the more I look the more I don’t. Just the top or even just the base would be cute but together, it is a little much.

Teranne

Adding to what I said earlier, I agree that the base is the best part. If top or base had to go, loose the top for a solid color and keep the curvy-stripey base :)

Andrea B

Too much going on there. If it was the only source of multi-color in an otherwise white room … maybe.

Otherwise. My vote is no!

Ana Monteiro

I like it! It’s just crazy FUN! It would look great in a kids room or – like someone said above – it would look beautiful in a neutral room with some pops of color here and there and some other crazy artwork!

Jen M

This post instantly made me think of the same rainbow lollipops and Willy Wonka. I agree if the base was white or black it would be better…but I think I would love it if the top had fewer stripes for a simpler look. Very interesting find!

Jackie

i think just the table top in stripes with a nice dark base to balance it out would be cute… black or grey? xjx

diana

Love it. As an eye catcher in a truley modern interior, with spectacular art on the walls and that famous “Up” B&B Italia chair. It’s a statement table and I love it in that way.

Shannon

Cute all around! But then again I am the one that collects only candy ornaments for my christmas tree and doesn’t end up putting them away…
I’m going to go with fellow commenters that said in the right place its perfect. Kids room, kitchy kitchen, candy shop…really love the neutral room idea too!

diana

P.S: I’d never replace base or top with something monochrome! I would either go for it the way it is or not at all ;)

Evelyn

I really dislike this piece. Its way too much – too busy, too cutesy, too tacky. I can’t really handle it. :-/

Lisa Hargus

The crazy lollipop stripe and the implausible hard candy texture of the all the detailed turnings really MAKE the piece in my opinion. I immediately thought of the recent Murial Brandolini feature in the most recent (vastly improved) AD. I say trust your first instinct on this one Grace. Take it out of the nursery and you’ve got something really unique. Also made me think of Dan Bleir (the resin artist)

greysfabric

I think I love it. I couldn’t take more than one at a time, but those stripes would look great in my fabric shop :D

Danielle

as is, i think it belongs in a kitschy coffee shop with a checker board and 2 bright, heavily shellacked milk stools. or you could pull it out if you have the mad hatter over for your un-birthday.

i think it’s the purple stripes that are throwing me off… without them you’d have a very nice Russian poster design color scheme. and maybe if the stripes were just a hair wider and all equal in width. I think painting any part of it solid would be unsatisfying and only make it look more juvenile.

i think it depends on the person’s style too. if you are the gwen stefani of home decor, you can probably get away with this. not really something you could throw in an any old eclectic room and get away with though.

also, i think you’ve got a great idea here for a new post category.

Jen

Either a strip-y base or top. The contrast of a solid colour or wood would make the stripes sing.

Lexi

I wish that there wasn’t cream in it and I wish there was lime green in it.

Alison Berry

Ehhhhhhh, I do like the top, but not with that base. I do like the bottom, but not with that top. I can see a solid white with either one to tone it back and make it not so retro.

lnminteriors

I thought the same thing at first…but how cute would it be next to a big graphic print fabric in a funky little girls room!

Lauren

I think it totally depends on the setting! I wish the support wasn’t shaped but looked more like the tulip base.
I do like their other striped tables from the same site…

jennifer

i think the first thing that struck me is how thick and shiny the paint is. i don’t know if i’d want to look at this piece every day, but i would love to run my hands up and down that smooth, turned leg!!

Cearan

Depends totally upon the environment. If it is the much needed splash of color for a little girls room, I say rock out. I am usually pretty conservative about things like this.. (Allan would hate it)!

KT

I like the base, but not the top! If the top were a mid-dark wood stain, I think it would be fantastic.

lynn

thumbs down.
I know stripes are big right now, but I can’t get behind this one, solid base/top or not. This is an example of stripes gone wrong.

I think the combination of the high gloss, cool/warm color combo and not enough difference in stripe width all point to a big N-O.

Morgan

Definitely not cute! Almost almost something sorta cute. But misses the mark with the base and the colors of the stripes, in my humble opinion.

Kathryn

Agree – too much. What if it had a tulip-table style base. White would make it so cute! Or, maybe if the base was striped but plain rather than turned…

Pip

Hmm, does look like a yummy candy cane.
It could work if you are going for a real specific stylized room look with all monotone colours, and this being the high light.
I’m thinking kind of A Clockwork Orange type super white room, or white kitchen.
But it would be very difficult to pair this up with other furnishings.
I agree with other comments – a solid top or solid colour base (white?) could work, but still you need to go with lots of neutral action.
Its definitely very very fun!
How about a Willy Wonka theme styled kids room?

Polyvorina

I actually think the opposite – with a solid dark wood top, I think this table would be cute. As is, it’s a little much for my taste – maybe in a kid’s room?

Erena

Sorry, that’s god awful.
Might be saved with a black solid base or a log with natural texture, but why buy the whole thing for the top, which you could make yourself.
Thinking a bit more, it would look cool on the top of a barrel.
Still, that’s a no vote from me.

Catherine

With either a solid top or base, I think it could be a cute addition to a child’s room or a fun display piece in a whimsical shop.

I’m loving stripes, but I tend toward more simple with them, so this table doesn’t appeal to me personally.

Kim

The top is fine, the base is severely lacking. not cute. And I’m not a fan of the color combination happening here…

Wendy

Not so much. I vote for a solid top with striped base, but even then only in the right setting (somewhere I would only see it once a year) and then I might love it.

andrea

I am in love with the base…..fantastic….but would like to see a solid color top…..yellow or even just a stark white for the relief needed from the stripes….

christine

i’d like to see the striped base with a solid top. something like a wenge stained wood. that would be cute. but as is, too much of a good thing kind of makes it just too much.

Erika

I totally love the base the way it is and with a plain top maybe white or even a nice cool gray it would be just perfect.

Sue

The table top is too much for me. I love the stand and if the top were one, just one, of the colors in the stand then I would love this table, especially if it were yellow or black.

Ellen

Hey, I kinda like it. Agreed- it’s a bit much, but imagine it in an otherwise restrained setting. Thanks for mentioning Wythe Candy! I’m a local and it’s one of my favorites.

Jacqui

The tabletop doesn’t do much for me but I love the base, so I’d definitely be in the ‘pair the base with a plain top’ camp.

Alexandrahh

Its cute! but…..that would require a veryyy specific room to go in… what about separating the bottom and top to spread the strips around a little more!

cori dantini

i don’t love it as is.
i think if you keep the base “as is” the top surface should read as a bulls eye (not stripes). it would be a visual joke (to me). on the other hand… if you keep the top as is, it needs a simple straight base. one color. the horizontal stripes throw off the vertical stripes of the top.

(not sure if that is clear or not…)
but that is what i think!

shelley

I like it! It’s colorful and fun and obviously not made to please everyone. If I would change it all I would paint the top solid. The striped swirly base is my favorite part!

LOIS

I LOVE IT! I could build a whole room around it! (I am a little non-traditional)

Rebecca Melander

Oh lolli lolli, you’re spot (stripe!) on! The base should be thin as possible and dark, but if for a child’s room, make it white and glossy…or pull out one of the colors in the stripe for added punch. I have straddled the less-is-more/more-is-more fence for years; in this case, go with the former. Remember, too much sugar makes your teeth feel fuzzy.

Blake Eames

I am on the {love it} side…as a furniture painter/re-designer I think a piece of furniture can be art and this is ART. Treat it as such and follow the rules of art…
1. art does not have to match the sofa
2. art should make us think about something…here I’m thinking happy thoughts about lollis and spring coming
3. art is personal…the only person that has to love it is you baby!

Tayef Farrar

I’m inclined to say its HOT all the way…but, like you, after spending time staring at it, imagining it in my space, i might go ahead and suggest keeping the base, but changing the table top to a solid bright.

Melanie

Made my eyes water like when I chop an onion. Too much to look at. I like the top, but it needs a slim, flat neck and base. No balls.

Peaches

I for one think it’s swell, but I’m much more impressed that you mentioned Wythe Candy (woot woot Tribe pride)
If you should ever find something reminiscent of the Cheese Shop’s *Special Sauce* I’m pretty sure I’ll by it on the spot.

Tinabobina99

I’m feeling sort of opposite from the rest of you — I’d love the striped base with a reclaimed wood top. A wonderful surprise that wouldn’t hit you in the face. Thanks for giving us the chance to be opinionated.

issy

i actually like the base, the swirls are fun. it is also nice how the curling stripe pattern on the base contrasts with the simple stripe pattern on the top. I think the design is fun and does work. Having said that, I doubt I would purchase it for my home.

Emily

In the right space, this could be cute. I could be hot in a neutral kids room or in a room with a lot of white. I kind of like it in a weird way.

mtbluestocking

I like the base as is and would prefer the top monochrome – in one of the less bright colors. The base if fun for the eyes, but the top needs a background for what’s happening there – not it’s own story . . .

melissa gregan

actually, i think the top should have a solid colour. i love the base, but would want the table top white or black. its really well done!

Holly

hmmm… I would say “not”. Staring at an item of furniture should not make my retinas burn.

InkSketch

I would say “not”. As stated by previous responses, it needs an anchor. A solid top would rectify the problem.

Pam

Didn’t we see this table on “Man Shops Globe” this past year? Keith, the guy who travels and shops for Anthropologie. He went for it in a heartbeat.

Brenda

Forget the base! Think how precious it would be with a big slab of antique table top and those stripes peeking out underneath. Something aged and only waxed or matte finished.

Yvonne

Actually, I LIKE the Base, it’s the top I don’t like, WAY too busy. If it was a solid black or red, that table would be perfect.

karen berg

Love that top, the base is giving me a headache. If I saw it at Ice Cream or Cupcake shop, I think would think, “really cute”, then lose my appetite.

Anniina

I LIKE IT!
well.. it depends on what you put next to it / on it!
= it might take some time to find something that goes perfectly with it but after you’ve found it, it would look AMAZING!

Some Lucky Dog

I love the painted base! But the stripes on the top have to go. Give it a solid black (or gray) top and bring it over to my house!

Steven Hoober

Mi Ya got closest to me. The base is not troublesome because it’s striped, but because it’s striped, AND shiny, AND has detail shape. If the base was a simpler pillar shape and the same sheen as the top, better I suspect.

Also agree that if it wanted to really stick together, it should maybe be concentric rings on top, not stripes. They sort of fight each other, especially at the angle photographed.

db

not so much.. on the whole package. I agree it needs a solid or a much simpler base without ornament BUT they have other stripey things that are reaaaally nice on their site. (blk+wht stripe lamp and stripey trays (?) in blues for instance. lovely.)

Tonni Hamilton

Wow! Fun reading all the comments! I’m going with cute….it’s a little over the top but in a good happy way! Yep I like it!

Amber Patterson

Paint the top a solid color and leave the base as is.

Jennifer Moore

I actually like it a lot, but for a light and open or outdoor space. It’s too much, as it stands, for an indoor area.

For indoor use, I’d put a white or coordinating base on it and just leave the top striped.

It wouldn’t work in my current space, though.

Leanne

Grace, the table is awesome- I would not change a thing. It’s all or nothing when it comes to piece of art like this table. If you switch the base it will be a cop out. I am so surprised how many people did not see the greatness of this table as is. You can go both ways: simple, modern, white accented room with table, or juxtaposition table in a room stylised in Baroque, not heavily, but some. It would be so cool.

This table works, you just have to try.
