new: jonathan adler bedding

by Grace Bonney

As much I love the changing leaves of fall, I’m not so in love with the dropping temperatures. The novelty of layering up and wearing scarves wears off for me after about, oh, two weeks, so I’m already thinking of ways to make the house cozier. My first step will be pulling out the heavier quilts from the closet, because few things are as comforting as warm winter bedding (except maybe a huge mug of hot chocolate and a giant s’more). I normally like to keep my bedding pretty neutral, but these new bedding collections from Jonathan Adler are quite tempting. I always find myself drawn to orange patterns and the one below goes so well with all the other orange details throughout our house. But that hot pink one would be so fun for early summer when I’m dying to brighten things up and dump anything that feels too heavy. These new collections, which are 100% cotton percale and 400 thread count, consist of a duvet, sheet set, euro sham and pillow cases (the duvets top out at $225 and the pillow cases are $45 per set). You can check out the new collection right here, and stay tuned for more new bedding β€” they plan on expanding the collection to 10 new styles soon. xo, grace

*P.S. If you want to learn how to make an upholstered headboard like the one above, check out the DIY video I made last year for my own fabric headboard.
