I love ending the week on a happy note and this post is literally about seeing the world through rose-colored glasses. D*S editor Halligan Norris wanted to collaborate with her friend, photographer Jessica Roberts, so they decided to join forces and throw a party!

The theme was “seeing the world through rose-colored glasses” with a bit of “mysterious gypsy” thrown in. Halligan and Jessica made the day special by featuring all sorts of rose-themed (and colored) details, like red banners, rose-covered cupcakes, red fortune-telling fish, rose water and actual rose-colored glasses on the invites. I love a good themed party and this one really takes the cake for me. It’s great when you can do something festive and fun without needing a specific holiday or event to celebrate. You can see 12 more beautiful images after the jump below, or check out more of Halligan’s work here and Jessica’s work here. Thanks for sharing guys!
