catherine hammerton tableware + wallpaper resources
Good morning! I’m so excited about our content today because we have a special theme: bikes! Starting at 11am, we’ll post a “best of” bikes in the interiors roundup; a video interview with Bike Boutique owner Julie Hirschfeld; and a huge roundup of 55+ bikes, bike accessories, and bike-inspired decor. If you’ve ever wanted to get into bikes, today is the day to find the cutest designs available. So, stay tuned for that starting at 11am, along with a great new (printed!) design magazine announcement, a beautiful home tour, and much more.
I want to kick things off with these beautiful new “bottle garden” mugs and plates from wallpaper designer Catherine Hammerton. The mix-and-match patterns in blue or pink are perfect for everyday use or dressing up for a special occasion. Click here to check out (and shop) the collection online ($19–$26). If you missed Catherine’s amazing home tour earlier this summer, click here to check it out.
And speaking of wallpaper, if you didn’t catch last Friday’s top 50 wallpaper resources, be sure to check it out. I rounded up ALL of my trusted resources and hope they’ll come in handy if you’re looking to wallpaper your home or some furniture! xo, grace
wow! beautiful colors!
I love these, they’re like little bits of graphic art on a plate. Good colour combinations too. Yes, yes, I want them.
Those little collages on plates and cups are most beautiful. Looking at Catherine Hammerton`s website I love her 3dimensional flower wall paper!
I do like these cups, I like these plates, I like the wallpaper, but I do have one question:
Where is the September desktop wallpaper? I was excited for what you’d come up with during my birthday month! :)

i’m afraid the desktop calendars are over for now. it was a special year long project to celebrate the 5th year anniversary of d*s and for now we’re focusing on getting the new d*s redesign up and running and securing funding for this year’s student scholarship.

Oh how I love the collage feel of these plates and mugs. It almost seems like a lovely design board for something else lovely to come as well.
Lovely, but bear more than a slight resemblance to what Lisa Bengtsson has done for Indiska.
