speaking of being outdoors, i love this new nature-inspired pattern from heather at skinny laminx. heather was inspired by a paper cut piece she created back in 2006 (below) and decided to turn the leaf motif into a pattern, which now comes in an “autumn gold” or “winter grey” color. you can pick up heather’s new pattern in pillow form for $30 in her etsy shop right here. thanks, heather!

beautiful … like the new version with the veins in the leaves even better than the original … makes me want to go back to some of my older graphic designs and see if there are some things there than I can “tweak” and give a new life too!

I love the leaf motif. I’ve had one of Laura Owens’ tree and leaf prints hanging in my house for years now and it makes me happy every time I pass by.
