kirra jamison

i’m having a speechless art moment right now, courtesy of my favorite source for all things cool, deanne cheuk. over at the internetwork deanne posted about artist kirra jamison‘s amazing artwork and i’m still stunned. when i clicked over to kirra’s site and saw the picture of these pieces full sized i wanted to cry they were so beautiful. hence, these pieces have immediately jumped directly to the top of my dream wish list. seriously, i’m emailing her gallery now and asking about prices so i can start a savings fund. i need to have one of these in my life- they’re too beautiful for words. click here to check out more of kirra’s work online.

wow. I mean, just wow. The detail in her work is insane. And the colors she uses are absolutely mesmerizing. I especially like Livin’ on a prayer, with it’s intricate little flowers and leaves and the people at the bottom, and also her Moon child (on her site). I really want…no, I really NEED that. Really bad.

Gorgeous. I love Willow Weep. I wish she did prints. Well, I hope she does in the future, at least! I know I’ll never be able to afford to purchase and ship a piece of art from a gallery down under!

Oh my… I haven’t wanted art this much ever before. However, I’m sure it’s waaaaay out of my price range but I would be one of the first to buy some sort of under $100 print if they ever become available. Please let us know if it happens one day!
