sometimes it’s the sweetest and simplest ideas that are my favorite. for some reason these little metal bird bookmarks (in lime green, gold, and silver) seem like the perfect solution for a good summer read. in between trips to the fridge for more iced tea they’ll be sure to keep your pages in the right place. click here for more info and to buy ($8).

and, speaking of cuteness, how adorable are these red and green apple boxes? perfect for desktop storage or keys by the front door. $30 right here.

i looove those apple containers. i have them on my desk. good for secret candy storage!
yay! i have that book marker. my boss gave it to me, it’s lovely. ihave the gold one.
The bird markers ARE perfect!! What a lively treat fir a gloomy rainy morning!
For those of you who own the bird book marker, how delicate are they with the pages? Every time I’ve used a metal marker, it starts to tear the pages.
Not to rain on anyones parade, but I have spotted very similar apple containers at my local Giant and Bed, Bath & Beyond. At those locations they also have bell peppers, limes, lemons and onions. Just figured I would put that out there for the budget concerned =)
cute apples, but i LOVE the wooden owl!
does anyone know where to find the lamp in the last two photos? it’s perfect for a desk!
I agree with Haley, love the wooden owl! (and the birds and apple too of course.)
@kate
as much as i love my bird bookmarker, I have to say that it does unfortunately leave a little tear in the page occasionally…
however i must stress that i don’t pay particular attention to avoid this happening (I love it when books look a little dishevelled and used ;) )
now I really want the apple container :) mmmhh granny smith
I’d also love to know where those lamps are from, they are perfection! Those bird markers are adorable, too! I might try making my own version from sturdy cardstock and an x-acto knife.
Looks like the lamp might be the Conran MacLamp:

lovely bookmarks.
Does anyone know who makes the wooden owl or where to find it? The apples are cute but little owl is stealing the show in that picture:)
Hi Carrie, you can buy the little wooden owl here http://www.ourworkshop-shop.co.uk/categories/210-For-Home/products It’s from Our Shop also, we just got them in today! They’re made by UK designer Matt Pugh. They are really cute and are made out of a solid piece of walnut. Thanks to everyone for your great comments! :)
that owl is awfully cute, too!
Anyone know if the bird bookmark is available anywhere in the US? I love it, but the thought of the cost postage from the UK is scary.
