sometimes i come along furniture or lighting that is just too beautiful for words. and these handmade pendant lamps crafted from napa valley wine barrels are just that type of lighting. photographer lindsay garvey shot some interiors with stave luminary‘s lights installed (check out the amazing shadow pattern!) and sent along some of her shots and that was all it took- i was hooked. i love the weathered look of the wood, the burlap fabric that lines the inside of the lamp. it’s the perfect combination of textures for me. and the shot of them in a field? it’s killing me not to be able to run to that field, set up a table, and have a dinner party with friends under those gorgeous lights. to dream…

This is very awesome. I know for sure that the fabric used in this lamp brings a lot of impact of the quality and effect of the lamp. It adds art and it shows creativity. The choice of fabric is also good as well as the color. Good work. I love it.
We are about to build an addition onto our home and I am seriously considering ordering one. We live in Sydney Australia so freight will be expensive. But they are very beautiful and would be worth every penny!
