Today’s color palettes are pulled from the home of floral designer, Nicolette Owen. She painted each room in her house a different shade of blue. I love this idea, simply because blue walls create such a calm and refreshing atmosphere. Her use of green, pink and yellow accent colors brightens up the room, and is brilliant when paired with the pale light blue. The plants and flowers in her house can’t be ignored either, as they liven up the space and produce a natural aesthetic.
Thank you so much for all of your comments and suggestions last week! There were a few inquiries regarding the addition of pantone numbers, so I have included them in this week’s post. You can find them listed after the paint names. Please note that I’m trying to find the best possible match, but not all of the colors will be exact. —Lauren

Beautiful, I agree, the blues are so wonderful to work with and be part of a pleasing palette.

Love this -so pretty! Thanks for including the paint co. and names.
That last grouping reminds me of Heath Ceramics’ palette for their summer special edition tableware. So pretty.
I remember this sneak peek very well, as it was, and still is, one of my very favorites of all time. I hadn’t looked at it in a while, I’m so glad you pulled it back out today! I’m working on my studio space and definitely needed a reminder :)
Love these palettes! I feel like the first one needs a cadmium-y yellow from the banner :)
oh Lauren, your second palette today is just gorgeous… love it!

Lovely colors! And thanks for adding the Pantone numbers. Yay!
I love these color posts. I’ve been experimenting with making plaid patterns out of CSS divs (for fun! I know; I’m odd :), and the second color scheme made such a nice one. Hex values in case anyone else would find them useful:
a) #83afb0
b) #65625b
c) #cad1d8
d) #f7d35b
e) #d7a25e
