anna bond from rifle paper co. was probably the highlight of the national stationery show for me. out of all the artists showing, anna’s work really stood out the most for me. her unique illustration style and love of red, pink, and peach colors (my favorites) always catches my eye, so i get excited when i see an email from her in my inbox.

anna just launched a lovely new set of wooden recipe card boxes this morning. each box is locally handmade by craftsmen using locally salvaged woods (from trees that were headed to landfills- i didn’t even know people put trees in landfills!). from start (sourcing the wood) to finish each box takes about three months to finish, with a month to craft and another month for the hand-rubbed oil finish to dry. then each lid is screenprinted (with two design options) and comes with 12 dividers and 24 adorable recipe cards. each box + card set is now available for pre-order (with free shipping through july 12th) right here for $120. thanks, anna!

Contemporary, but with a vintage edge; Artistic yet practical…the best of both worlds! I have some lovely old salt boxes that would compliment beautifully. I may just have to splurge on this for ME!
these are so beautiful! i would love to touch and feel them.

I saw these in person at the National Stationery Show – they are beautiful!!
I agree with Maria Wheeler, these recipe boxes share a contemporary and vintage feel to them. Maybe, its due to the mix of the wood with the white print, that gives it that mix of styles. I love the design of the print, it goes very well with the wood. I really like the imperfections in the wood, they make the boxes even more perfect.
Everything Anna touches turns to gold. I love her work!
