thursdays are all about before & afters for me, so i thought it would be perfect to start the day with some beautiful recycled furniture. david and meli of koff designs hand craft reclaimed and recycled furniture from their brooklyn studio. using reclaimed lumber and found wooden shipping pallets, david and meli create beautiful tables and benches that celebrate the character that comes with a worn wooden patina. i really love the little details they add, like labels (bottom image below) and extra drawers (directly below) you can check out more of koff designs’ work online right here. thanks, david!

love the simplicity!!! Gorgeous!!
Wow! Looks great, I am so impressed with the creativity! Love it!
Gosh, how funny, I went on the prowl for a lovely vintage writing desk just this morning and then come home to find this post – some of the tables I’ve been looking at today are similar (sort of).
Here’s what made it to my shortlist, in anycase, would love some tips!

Fantastic lines and I absolutely ADORE the name marker. It makes it part of the art. So cool.
very gorgeous furniture. I must say I also love their photography… the street element really adds something!
Love the low table, and the details are just superb! The little koff insert is so cute.

These are fabulous!
Love the little drawer! Inspires me to scrounge for timber under the house, and get to work in the shed… or I could just have a cup of tea. Jx
very nice. i’ve got a set of hairpin legs just begging for a nice piece of reclaimed wood popped over the top.
Love the hairpin legs & the little drawers added on. Do they have an online shop? I visited their website, but there was no info about how to buy.
(David from Koff here) We have an etsy shop but I don’t use it that much. I like more personal “retail” Drop us an email with what you like on the website, or something you would like made custom and we’ll talk :) Thank you for all the great feedback and thank you to D Sponge for posting us!
