brownehsieh lighting

speaking of cool lighting, i’m really enjoying this series of handmade lights from brownehsieh. inspired by nature, this new “MothEaten” line of lights plays with the idea of being drawn to light like a moth. using handmade lace, brownehsieh has embellished simple, but beautiful, hanging lights, to bring extra attention to the bulb itself (which is so sparkly and pretty!). we’ve got a fun lighting diy project coming up later this afternoon so i couldn’t resist sharing a little lighting love this morning. click here and here to check out more info on brownehsieh. thanks, eleanor!

That’s really cool the way the design is cut away from the piece of lace. Must make great shadows on the walls.

I’m a sucker for lights–esp. at Ikea. I enjoy all the posts on lights, so keep ‘em coming!

These are absolutely gorgeous. I am picturing them casting amazing shadows on our furniture. I might have to get some for the showroom!

So these lights are not available for purchase? That’s a shame.

Very frustrating not to be able to find any more information about the lights on their website. Not one mention of them, not even a photo.

they’re new- not on the site yet. shoot them an email if you’d like more information about buying before they’re ready for sale.

sorry for the confusion- sometimes we get product announcements before they’ve hit websites or shops and we like to share them anyway because we’re excited :)

Rather a lot too like a copy of Tord Boontje’s Garland light fittings though?

i’m a huge tord fan, but to me they don’t seem similar. if you’re referencing the way they attach over the bulb- was tord the first to do that? i feel like i’ve seen things attached to the top of a bulb before tord- but perhaps not?
