it’s killing me that right now i’m sitting in an airport in miami and missing artist nathalie lete‘s visit to anthropologie in nyc. i think nathalie is one of the most amazing artists working right now, and i was so excited to hear that nathalie would be painting the windows at the anthro store on 5th avenue. in honor of her new dress collection at anthro nathalie is transforming all of the windows into a “marvelous garden” with flowers, birds, and insects. nathalie’s collections for the store are always so beautiful and whimsical, i can only imagine how gorgeous those windows are going to be. i’ll have to check them out later this week, but if you’re in town you can check them out at the 85 fifth avenue (at 16th street) location. until then, you can check out nathalie’s collections for anthro right here.

Wow, this is amazing.
I so wish I could afford the Ode to Pollen rug right now.
Sounds like a multi-day project, maybe you’ll be able to catch the tail end?

This is incredible – I’m so glad you shared. She will definitely be an artist that I start following. Also, for us non NY folks, PLEASE take and post pics of the windows! Having worked retail for a good while, I love a good window display.

The octopus dress is so beautiful – wish I could wear it. Too self-conscious about my arms!
Hi where can I find the green and white skirt paired with the striped top? Is it available at Anthropologie? I clicked on the link but did not see any clothing from Natalie on the site.

So very Ursula-sea-witch chic.
