new: spring 2010 umbrellas from pare

it’s raining cats and dogs here in brooklyn today so i couldn’t think of a more perfect time to share some of pare umbrella’s new spring designs. i’ve owned one of satoko’s patterned umbrellas for over 3 years now and it’s yet to break (though i may indulge in a new one for spring) so her designs became an instant favorite for me. her new spring designs have beautiful floral prints and details like wooden handles and lace + crochet trims, so if you’re looking for something to keep you dry during this rainy season, i highly recommend checking out her new line. all of pare’s umbrellas are available for $65 right here- be sure to check out the “dots” and “hello gorgeous”, those are my favorites- they’re so ladylike but still cool. thanks, satoko!

I LoVe these – especially the cherry one. I have a soft spot in me for sweet umbrellas.

Emily

Definitely need a sturdy umbrella as the Boston wind and rain have eaten up all my reserve!

Moa

Oh, I just love all of these umbrellas! They would certainly make a rainy day feel less gloomy :)

margot

A “real” umbrella, not some flimsy little compact thing (but they are convenient). I LOVE these so much, am going to get one this spring.

Stella

I’m not normally so girly but I think the pink rose one is precious. Maybe I will treat myself with one of these when I finally, quite thoroughly break all 3 of my kinda-broken umbrellas?

The last time I bought a nice umbrella ($25 nice, not $65 nice!) I promptly lost it the week after I got it. But these are so pretty… maybe that won’t happen.

These are stunning! You can never have too many umbrellas in England, and it’s incredible it’s lasted 3 years!! I definitely need one.

sara

These are so cute but I’m with Emily — I’d be afraid to take something so pretty out in Boston lately, it might not survive!

Laura

I am not usually a frilly girl, but the umbrella with cherries rocks! I could have used that today in the monsoon here in NYC.

Michelle {Things I Love}

Since the stupid wind in this city has now destroyed my third and final umbrella, I’m due for a new one! Thanks for posting! I adore the umbrellas with lace detail.

zoya

love the collection of umbrellas
but who will remind me to pick mine…..lol

The Art of Doing Stuff

These are all very pretty but I still love my umbrella best. It’s black with a beautiful white lettering that declares in French, “Merde il Pleut.”. Which in English translates into, “Sh** it’s raining.” :)
