good morning! i’m still riding a gardening/flower arranging high from yesterday’s herb flower class at saipua, so i thought it would be fun to start the day with these beautiful packaged seed sets from the balcony gardener.

owner isabelle palmer sells all sorts of beautiful garden tools, plants, window boxes and pots for the garden, but i’m really loving the packaging on the seed sets her company sells. i’ve always been more of a “buy the plant already grown” type of person, but these sweet little packages have inspired me to want to nurture something from seed to full-grown plant. you can check out the seeds at balcony gardener right here, or click here to check out the full shop. thanks, isabelle!

also, i’m happy to welcome suann song of simplesong to the d*s guest blog. today she’s sharing great ideas to displaying and cataloging your little ones’ artwork. click here to check it out!

wow, the packaging is so cute. makes me want to start a garden this season! :)
Great packaging, reminds me of the classic Penguing book design.
What a terrific idea!…all packets should look like this!
Off to vist Suann.
Clicked through from your link on Twitter and wasn’t quite expecting the seed packets to look this these. These really are funky!
Wow! Love the graphics. They look great!
Wow! Love the graphics. So eye-catching.
These are gorgeous! How fun would it be to use the packages for an arts/crafts project once the seeds are safely in the ground.
Here’s a totally different take on seed packets, as seen in my garden shop last month: http://bit.ly/cmMhyb
Very bright, strong and love the Italian graphics of the “Franchi” packs…
These are so lovely!! Can’t wait to get out into the garden…(which here in MN will be Juneish…sigh!)
Is there anyway to get those blue vegetable planters in the US? it looks like her site delivers to the UK only :(
