i couldn’t sleep last night (too cold!) so i ended up blog surfing until the wee hours of the morning. after reading through cicuska for an hour i came upon her link to this fun online ‘origami club‘ and ended up spelling all sorts of phrases with their letter guide. when our heart comes back on and my fingers become more nimble i plan on making some of these for real, especially the little owl below- what a fun way to top off a gift or just make your own homemade cards. click here for hours of origami fun.

I love these!
ahhhh this is BRILLIANT! Can’t wait to have a go on the letters. I’ve looked on youtube before for demonstration videos but the animations on this site are so much easier to follow. Thanks so much for posing this!

perfect for ladies night IN.
I love the owl and especially the leaves. Really cute!
Ah awesome! X)
I helped a co-worker fold cranes for a “wish” project and found myself wanting to do more!
Perfect timing, as always!
Nice, I like specially “bugs” section, but interesting place to browse in.
Wow, been looking for a site like this for a long time. Thanks!
I think the details are great. I like the use of more colors than just one for many of the items. There is a fox that is just adorable.
Really great ideas but there is one thing I couldn’t find. How do you determine what size paper to start out with? (ie: the toothpick holder)
oh, amazing! what great place to hang out.
and p.s. do you mean heat? surely you don’t really mean heart cos that sounds even sadder than having no heat!
Thanks for the link to a fun site.
Like your selections too.
I love all things origami! Working on 1000 cranes myself…
Wow, the origami possibilities are endless – thanks for sharing!
Oh lovely lovely !!!
Great minds think alike! I’ve been mulling over origami lately, and this is such an awesome refence! Thanks for discovering and sharing! :)
Love this! One of my goals this year is to be more appreciative of those around me, and being able to leave a little origami piece with a “thank you” on it would be perfect. (And maybe now I can make my sleepless nights a little more enjoyable by working on a few of these to have on hand. ) Thank you!
What fun! I’ve always loved origami.

Does anyone know of a really good online store to buy origami paper from? I am looking for shades of purple and it appears to be really difficult to find!
