oh no! My home has to compete with that?? It’s amazing!!!! (not my home, the above image!) and so is Johnny’s portfolio!!!
That color could lift the mood of anyone – even Oscar the Grouch.
(OK, so I admit I am a little crabby).
Beautiful. I am looking forward to your book…

but really come on that color is hard to forget…can’t wait for your book!
What a gorgeous photograph. Those colours, they are stunning!
I about flipped when I saw that painting. I have one just like it but the lady in red is standing next to a bird cage. Now I need to go see if I can find more of them!
lovely! anyone know the scoop on the glass candlesticks? love ‘em!
I love the color scheme in the pictured room.
Wow! The sneak peek looks gorgeous, and I’m looking forward to your wonderful book!
OMG! My grandparents had that same exact painting hanging in their living room in the 70s! Wow…brings back memories. By the way, gorgeous color on the wall.
Sweden calling…
So glad I stumbled on your lovely lovely blog today – again! Sooooo nice – as usual!
Peace & Love

My mother received a painting from my grandmother that is strikingly similar to the one featured in the peach room. The woman playing the piano in Mom’s painting is wearing blue, but maybe that would be a great focal piece for a blue room. Hmmmm….
What an inspirational room! My mom has a painting that is strikingly similar with a woman in blue playing the piano. Might need to look into a blue room that would make it pop….
What a pretty and clever arrangement! And the peach on the wall lifts it up wonderfully.
P.S.:On another note – I am really enjoying my new Camilla Engmann Wallpaper. Thanks Grace!
Nichole – the glass candlesticks are from Ittala, and are called Festivo. They were designed by Timo Sarpaneva in 1966, and you can still buy them new. Finnstyle.com is a great source for Ittala stuff.

Inspiring! Thank you!
I love the retro look and the way the colours come together and form such a warm arrangement. It’s really impresive.

Very nice arrangement in deed. So inspiring!
Thank you for the Camilla Engman! It is beautiful! I love the idea of the numbers running accross the top of the Islands.

Beautiful room and photograph! Love the colours and the styling.
what paint color is that? i would love to use it on the accent wall behind my bed. i’m in france, so i don’t know if i’ll be able to find the exact same color, but having a place to start would be great!
