animal, insect and pattern trends come and go, but for me, the bee will never go out of style. there’s just something so classic about bees and hive patterns that i can’t get enough of. i wouldn’t want to cover my home in honeycomb prints, but i love a good bee product now and then. naturally, this new 2010 bee calendar from hammerpress was right up my alley. at this point i feel like i’m trying to decide between 20 different calendars i want for next year, but this one just shot up to the top of the list. click here for more info and to buy ($24 each).
*ps: stay tuned for the return of sarah and weeder’s digest at 12, and a new “living in” from amy at 1!

Hammerpress is located in my city of Kansas City! I love this new 2010 calendar — they do great letterpress.
Yellow never looks as good as on a bee. This calendar is wonderful.

Oh, I love this!
I agree, I’ve def. been struggling picking out a calendar…
If you love this, you’ve got to swing by their shop located in the Crossroads District in Kansas City! They’re open late on the first Friday of each month, like many of the art galleries on surrounding blocks…it’s a treat if you are ever in town!! :)
Just so charming! I think this might be the one!
This is fantastic ! I am going to pass this along to The Honey Bee Conservancy, (http://www.honeybeeconservancy.org)- I write a monthly guest blog post for them. These calendars are not only lovely, but they can also help raise awareness about the importance of the honeybee. We love the bees! ;) Michaela
