i don’t use calendars as much as i should, but fabric calendars are so appealing they might make me switch from digital time-keeping to something more tangible. these beautiful new designs are from michelle at cicada studio. her two new 2010 designs, queen anne’s lace ($42) and forsythia ($42), measure 16×20 inches and come with a wooden hanging rod secured with a baker’s twine hanger. the fabric is a mix of linen and cotton and, when the year is over, makes for a great drying cloth. you can pick up one of michelle’s calendar’s right here. thanks, michelle!

Very cute. I like the designs, although it is a little pricey for a tea towel calendar.
These are a beautiful update to the ones I used to give my grandmother every Christmas in the ’70s – you know, the ones with cardinals or bluebirds and pine trees? But she loved them!
Both ace, the green one is stunning! smashing colour.
Yes, please!!
Wow, both are so gorgeous! Now, which to choose? Or, can I find a place for both of them in my home?
these are great! i want both of them!
LOVE these!! So nostalgic – but in a modern way…
These are lovely! I pick up older calendars at rummage sales and thrift stores.. They are the BEST dish towels! I used to buy them for my mom everyyear….wish I had them now!
gorgeous! Michelle’s work is always lovely!
Those are so pretty! But I wouldn’t be able to throw them away at the end of the year…
Love them but ouch, that’s too costly!
Beautiful!
Oh so glad to know about these beautiful calendars! I’ve seen so many vintage ones around and love them, too. I recently saw one framed…and these would be a perfect candidate for framing, too (in my humble opinion).
Really awesome design hats off too you.
