Marianne Hallberg

_MG_8930
I want to introduce you to my friend and ceramic artist, Marianne Hallberg‘s work. Clever, unique and playful pieces rolled in thin stoneware, painted in white and cobalt blue naive lines. Everyday life objects in distorted forms, often with a twist. Marianne sell her ceramics all over the world but mostly to Sweden and Japan. I know she’s going to open a webshop very soon, so keep your eyes on her website or visit Fine Little Day, I’ll keep you updated. (The pink loop sculpture is called “Motor man”.)

I sort of couldn’t get over her hair (gorgeous updo)…..that is, until I saw her artwork. What a great style….I would love to fill my home with these!
