functional and rustic – lovely
lovely room!
That wire pendant looks like a whisk attachment for a giant mixer… a future DIY project…?
Adore the John D. room above, there is something about the textures and worn objects that brings such warmth to that space.
Saw the video about your headboard – fantastic! good work! LOVE the fabric. I go down to Cabo every year in Nov. (these textiles are in several shops all over the city!) and have not yet purchased my Otomi table cloth/bedspread/blanket… saving up for the perfect one!
Also highly appreciate the educational posts on the Louis chairs!!! Designers who don’t know their history and frequently call styles by the wrong name is one of my BIGGEST pet peeves ever!! *ugh*
Much love! K.
Love the John Derian room. Which issue of Vogue Living is this from? I’d love to see the whole spread.
Is that it just my eyes or is the paint not finished and accompanied by spackle?
Surely there must be a story there… or maybe I just don’t have a very sophisticated design aesthetic.
Here is another shot of this room:

I love this “wrap up” feature!
