i’m not normally a big soap person- or halloween person for that matter. but lately i’ve been overwhelmed by requests for halloween craft projects. i know, already? but tons of you are looking for ways to get ready for the holiday so i was happy to see this fun printed soap tutorial from debbie at soapylove. i’m more of a liquid soap girl, but i thought these printed bars were a fun and tasteful way to bring halloween decor into the house without breaking out those talking witches that hang from people’s doors. i’d like to do one that’s a simple black cat silhouette that would be one part halloween, one part silhouette love and one part homage to my fuzz buds. until i figure out how to do that, HERE is the tutorial from debbie. happy soap-ing!

Add me to the pile of people looking for Halloween projects. Love to see what chic projects you can find. (And I strongly encourage you to try some adult Halloween celebrations – they really are fun. Ive converted many over to the dark side. haha)
That’s the classiest, best-smelling pumpkin I’ve ever seen :)
Love this soap! Very sophisticated and subtle for a Halloween-themed project…took me a minute to realize it was a pumpkin.
Never thought soap could look this good! I wouldn’t even be able to use it. I think my hands will stay unwashed with such a pretty soap!
That is pretty soap, but I’m for keeping Halloween tacky. I want fog machines, cheesy music, over-the-top costumes, orange cupcakes, the whole childhood experience, plus massive quantities of alcohol :-D Classy is for Christmas!
I love this, but I don’t want to make soap. Does anyone know if I can use a tranfer/rub-on on pre-made soap? I can be a little lazy:)
If you’re looking for halloween ideas, definitely check out Blair’s awesome ideas developed for a thrift store website. Seriously inspiring and I don’t even like Halloween! http://blairpeter.typepad.com/weblog/2009/09/what-i-did-this-summer.html
Ahh! Fuzz buds…love that.
