This is the first book of hers I have, and I love it! There's something about the collection of recipes that is attractive! @Pieter: Yes I tend to agree about the paper, 99% of the time!! I can take coated sometimes if the pages are not thick. And you're right about good cookbooks not always having photos-- I think the books published by Slow Food Editore (Italian) are some of the best ones out there. Nary a photo... @RKW – Great to hear! I only buy cookbooks printed on uncoated paper. No matter how beautiful or useful the book if it's printed on shiny, coated paper I can't bring myself to buy it.
