good morning! it’s a sunny day here in brooklyn and i’m currently spending my morning with a bowl of cereal and a screen full of knitted oranges and lemons. yarnstorm the sixth: oranges and lemons odyssey, took place in london and involved a series of artists knitting beautiful oranges, lemons, leaves and bells around a beautiful church. i love how sweet the bells and fruit look- it’s such a beautiful way to start the morning. click here for more images from the project. thanks, anne!

also, meg’s new post on tape is live on the d*s guest blog! i love the simple graphic series she’s going this week- lightbulbs were first and today it’s all about tape.

very cute fruit and bells but just a note: they are crocheted and not knitted
Holy goodness, those tape chairs are quite a talent. Wow!
Speaking of tape, Oakland, CA artist Pablo Manga makes beautiful, serene painting-like works out of tape: http://pablomanga.com/. His earlier work is very colorful and his current work is more subdued and muted.
oh i have been yelling for 15 mins i love these chairs what a brilliant thought
and i love the fruit
The tape chairs are stunning.
