tgif! the weekend is finally here and i’m happy to kick off the last day of the work week with some outdoorsy fun. first up- amy borrell‘s final guest post of the week. today amy is talking about the photographic dictionary, a great project focusing on finding the various meanings behind photographs. the ‘embrace’ image above is my favorite, but you can check out her full post right here.

speaking of tree-hugging, over at the martha stewart wedding blog, i have a new post up all about our honeymoon in montana. because the couple that shoots (paintballs and skeet) together, stays together. our wedding will be in the magazine at the end of september so i’m excited to finally get to share our pictures soon. until then, click here to read all about our honeymoon adventures in big sky country.

Sounds wonderful. My hubby & I went to the mountains in NC for our honeymoon 34 years ago. People STILL roll their eyes at that one. We loved it so much that 3 years ago we bought our own cabin up there (we’re from Fl.)
*SWOON*!! Grace, your honeymoon looks like it was absolute heaven!
I’m also from Florida – but out honeymoon was in Belgium and Paris. But I LOVE the idea of taking a U.S. honeymoon. There are so many places in my own country that I’ve never seen. I’m so happy for you and your new husband :)
thanks allie! that was sort of our idea- we love traveling abroad (when we can afford to) as much as anyone, but thought it would be fun to stay stateside and explore part of the country that’s totally foreign to us. plus the resort supports tons of local businesses so i liked the idea of staying somewhere that would source food, etc from the local towns.
grace :)
Sounds perfect… being with nature and together, off the beaten path… am waiting to go to Montana, you’ve provided more inspiration to plan a trip!
sounds like the most perfect honeymoon ever! congrats!
awesome honeymoon link. We live just north on Montana, and the scenery out here is really incredible. Thanks for coming out west to see what we have to offer.
looks absolutely amazing grace! a honeymoon in the mountains is absolutely fabulous – congratulations!
i just read it and i have to say (again), right on Grace! it sounded wonderful and i hope your lives are filled with many more adventures of this kind! and i also cannot wait to see your wedding pics!
