i’m a huge fan of alice stevenson so i was thrilled to hear about some recent illustration projects she just finished- namely a set of beautiful book covers. alice always has such a fun, playful sense of line in her work, and i love the way her use of color is evolving to include darker and more intense colors. click here to check out her blog (which shows her most recent work) and here to check out her website.

Wow. These are wonderful! The Double Helix cover is really novel (no pun intended!)
ps. I can’t wait to hear the “big news” you mentioned on twitter!

These covers are beautiful, very in keeping with the authors work.
The Double Helix is amazing.
I so love Alice’s work! If we lived in an alternate universe and I actually published a book, I would totally want her to design the cover!!
Do you know where you can buy the Maya Angelou books? They are beautiful!

Does she do art prints as well?
Love the Barbara Trapido covers- books I would definitely pick up in a bookstore.
That blue tit is fantastic!
Alice is the best! I can’t wait to see all of the illustrations in the Carol Ann Duffy book. There’s over 100 little drawings in that one!
