Great tips. I love the idea of really creating an atmosphere for a party. I make jewellery and I normally hate hosting parties, but you have made me think about it in a whole new way. Since you mentioned soft lighting, I have to say that I adore my Soji solar powered lamp (I got it from http://www.lamplust.com) for soft evening lighting, and it is great for draping my earrings and necklaces on.

Love this idea! What a great way to support your female buddies and have a great party at the same time! Especially like the idea of selling handmade items.
