this post’s title sounds like a delicious command, but it’s actually the name of a beautiful “cupcakery” in los olivos, california (the location of friday’s ribbon wedding!). owner/baker amber vander vliet runs enjoy cupcakes within a beautiful wine tasting lounge called saarloos and sons. she thought the interior might be of interest to d*s and well, she was right. i’m a sucker for a place that combines my two favorite things- food and great design.

my favorite part of amber’s photo tour has got to be the vintage trailer that she brings to special events and farmer’s markets. i wish she would park that portable-cupcake-heaven in front of my front door. i’ve chosen my favorite design details from the shop above and below the jump, but you can check out more images of the tasting room (designed by heather saarloos) and enjoy cupcakes right here. thanks, amber!

It’s even better in person!
Oh, WOW! I’m simply in love.
I want to spend the rest of my life there! I adore the use of the darker neutral colors – it really anchors what could otherwise be a very pastel environment.
And the Cupcakes are the very best
Where did that brown, white, and yellow wallpaper with the silhouettes come from (second to last photo)? This place looks charming.
love it love it LOVE IT!
that trailer is utterly adorable. it’s been a dream of mine to run a mini-bakery business out of a vintage camper.
and p.s. those flavors sound amazing!
A wine tasting room & wine cupcakes in an attached vintage trailer? I think I’m in love.
That camper wouldn’t happen to be a 1960-ish Banner camper would it? I just bought one for $800–these photos are such an inspiration into what it could be!
reminds me of my trailer/studio i once had. although, hers is much more beautiful and clever! lovely!
i need this in new york. stat!
how is it that any of us can possibly resist the world of cupcake loveliness and being without our own cupcake trailers???
what is that awesome egg style chair called? i’ve been trying to find a set for my home for a long while and don’t know how to search for it!!
The wallpaper is Osborne & Little.
love love love love love love love! perfect cuteness to classic ratio. and those little yellow curtains with matching awning on the trailer are making my heart melt.
I do a lot of baking for friends and family and always find it difficult to transport cupcakes. where are the cute two-seater cupcake boxes from? and are they available in larger sizes?
I’m a huge fan of cupcakes and this place is fantastic. I love everything about it and the trailer is adorable.
This is exactly what I want to start in Seattle. Thanks for the inspiration!

I am positively in love with their place!! So chic and creative.
that CHAIR – kills me! Pure perfection by way of seating apparatus!
All of it is divine.
It looks so great! I wish I lived in CA and could visit and taste!
What a lovely idea! I love the menu board.
So adorable, I wish I was there! The trailer is a great touch.
Thank you so much d*s and thank you all for the kind words. It makes it all worth it! To answer the questions above: The trailer is a 1964 Shasta Airflyte. The bottles are vintage and the cross tops are made with vintage crystal chandeliers. The chairs are conversation chairs and when 2 are opposite you can speak from across the room to each other. Boxes are from u-line. And thanks Amy and Gale we will see you hopefully on Thursday. Enjoy!
I was just there last weekend! I have to say, it is even more gorgeous in person. It was the most stylish tasting room/cupcakery I’ve ever been too!

We had such a delightful time enjoying you winery! Everyone was very friendly. We fell in love with the decor and then we tasted the cupcakes and fell in love with them. The Triple Vanilla was amazing!!!!
God Bless you all and keep up the good work! ( I will be passing the word around about your place!!)
The wine and cupcakes are both fantastic. I love spending time in the tasting room as well as on the patio. Are the vintage bottles with the cross tops available for purchase anywhere online? If so, can you share the website and the designer’s name please?
Loved this post!! Filled with great inspiration. Not only of fun design but also of the entrepreneurial spirit.
