That’s a great looking post! love the drawings
Do you have more pics of the DIY track lighting? I am really intrigued!
Well this is a fantastic post for a Monday morning! I’ve been in love with exposed hanging bulbs for a long time, but the bulb table scape blew me away. I have a bunch of old dresser drawers I’ve been making into shadowboxes, and I have a feeling one of them is going to get a few lightbulbs…
Any chance of sharing the DIY instructions for your gorgeous project?
This post comes at the perfect time for me! All weekend I was working on what I hope will be a lamp- I just don’t know anything about lightbulbs and wiring and how to do it myself…so I’d also like the instructions on how to do this part. I don’t want to start any fires!
Yes! Detailed DIY please! I would love to do this in our apartment.
glad you liked the hanging bulbs! i asked my husband to do a little write up and take more pictures. i’ll post it later this week.

Meg! Love the grid-paper format on this post! U so brilliant (that’s a light-bulb pun, fyi).
Where can you buy vintage type light bulbs?
the used lightbulbs as art is a great idea, for in a few years, only energy saving lamps are allowed in Holland. I hope they’ll keep the great glass bulbs like in the 2nd pic though, they always look so nice
Hi Meg- I would LOVE instructions/photos of the track lighting project! I went to Home Depot and asked about the solderless connectors, and they looked at me like I was crazy!
Thanks!!
Sorry I didn’t have time this week to put together the instructions! I’ll try to give them to Grace next week.
Alex: My husband called them solderless connectors, but maybe there’s another name. When we put together instructions, we’ll make sure to put together a hardware shopping list with specific descriptions!
Thanks Meg! Looking forward to it!
