coffeeshop // second stop: getting to this coffeeshop early is key, too late in the day and second stop turns into a laptop zoo. featuring a refill station for your coffee, big windows and i think might be best construed as donut-muffins…sugar/butter/lemon top. yes, i suggest you try one. (d*s guest blog score: 4 out of 5 sketchbooks)

as an artist and fan of distinctive draftsmanship–these drawings are as delectable as a raspberry danish! And of course love the theme…

Gorgeous drawings, organic and real, I love getting to peek inside an artist’s sketchbook, it is like a glimpse into their brilliant mind.

thanks everyone

@Shandell often times my sketchbook pages don’t start on a blank sheet. being a clothesline user at home, sometimes a clothespin or two makes it in.

Second Stop is my favorite recent addition to my neighborhood in East Williamsburg. I love the cafe (and their donut-muffins) and these sketches – thanks for sharing.

Major scoop for design*sponge: Alex Eben Meyer’s guest posts. I’ll be watching for them in the mornings. I bet lots of others will be, too.
