workroom new zealand

i wanted to wrap up this week with some beautiful images of workroom new zealand‘s work. all of their furniture and home accessories are made from recycled new zealand wood and have a wonderful sense of warmth to them. i’m in the process of rethinking our apartment and have been thinking about integrating some more warm wooden pieces- and these would be perfect. if only brooklyn was a bit closer to new zealand. click here for more info on workroom’s work. [thanks, rebecca!]

That last table lamp with the feeding bird figures is a awesome look. Love it. They are all very nice, but I’m really diggin that last lamp.

I love those lamps – the one that looks like a tripod? They’re so classic and wonderful.

What are all of the prints? There is a cluster of them in the distance in one picture, then a close up of some others in the final one. They look so elegant and simple but still playful, I’d love to know more?

We just came back from New Zealand, how fun. I love the patterns on the lampshades. Very rustic.

The table lamp in the first photo looks a Maclamp, but with a fabric shade. So clever!

I am a kiwi and check design sponge every day – its how i start my morning. It’s SO exciting to see something from way over here on the site! there are so many great people doing neat stuff in nz, it feels super nice to see that other people are also noticing them.

And yes, we are very far away – from almost everywhere. ox
