good morning! after a sunny weekend break at the jersey shore (thanks for all the tips!) i wanted to kick off a new week with this beautiful “wooden carpet” by elisa stroyzk, via sam tanis at the laser cutter (a new blog devoted to all aspects of using laser cutting machines). all those details and facets are incredible.

i’m also thrilled to welcome a new team of guest bloggers to the d*s guest blog- ryan and alissa of horne! i’ve been a fan of their shop since it opened and have only grown to like them more after meeting them at icff and getting a peek into their gorgeous home and stunning spring wedding. today they’re joining the d*s guest blog with a beautiful post on oriental rugs and the launch of a fun contest! ryan and alissa are looking for photos that celebrate summer and will choose their favorite at the end of the week- and the winner will receive one of miranda meilleur‘s gorgeous silver cups. click here for more info!

That wooden carpet is cool, what a great idea! Wonder if it is heavy..?
These silver cups are exquisite!
That carpet and the Strozyk’s site are beyond exeptional. I wish there was some idea as to retail cost for this so I could pine away for it with actual numbers in mind.
Thanks for the mention of my blog, but my name is Sam Tanis, not Sam Otis – but Otis is my school and I love her:)
sorry about that, sam! just fixed :)
