Am I the only one who thinks they took a decent credenza and turned it to a flower power mess?

I'm about to do this to a dresser I have at home. I am assuming that I need to sand the outside, but how is the wallpaper adhered? Also, is there a varnish or sealant that is used on top of the wallpaper? Thanks so much!

This is my favorite type of b&a. Something that looks like it could never be repaired and stylish and it looks amazing. I love the pattern paper and red inside. Gorgeous!

The piece is beautiful!

Vie, if you live with it you should love it. There's no value in surrounding yourself with ho hum bare wood furniture. "Let go" as you put it and refurbish the pieces into items that will make you smile!

I am one of those "don't paint the wood" but that is a very nice thing he did. I have many old pieces of my grandma, and my ex's they have been well used and need help. I have cleaned and waxed but I kind of would like to paint them.. I wish I could just let go and do it.
