speaking of southern homes, on may 8th and may 9th, alumni and faculty from the savannah college of art and design will open their homes for a full day of tours. i would have given anything to stay in town and extra week to see these homes, so if you’re anywhere vaguely near savannah, be sure to check this out.

on friday and saturday viewers will get a chance to meet each artist and see how they’ve incorporated their artistic and design talent into their living spaces. tickets are $25 for one day ($45 for both days) and proceeds benefit the SCAD alumni scholarship. you can buy tickets by calling scad alumni relations at 912-525-5865 or pick up tickets the days of the tours at shopscad (340 bull street). scad has such incredible faculty and alumni (anyone need an adjunct teacher/lecturer? anyone…scad?) so this is guaranteed to be a fantastic tour of inspiring interiors. if anyone goes and is able to take pictures please send them along- i’d love to check them out.
