yesterday’s up-cycling before & after was a huge hit, so i thought it would be fun to keep the theme going with these fun seed markers from designer esther coombs.

itching to start gardening and unhappy with the existing options for seed markers, esther decided to reuse old china plates she had and found wood to create these playful ceramic seed markers. if you’re looking for a unique and playful way to decorate your spring garden, esther will happily create an order just for you-just specify which vegetables or herbs, etc. you would like drawn on the marker. click here for more information and to shop online.

Those are really cute! I need some markers, using the seed packages has not been working for me, and I am planting a bigger garden this year.
what a great idea! i’m going to copy.
Such a good idea. i have some broken dishes lying around that I didn’t want to throw away b/c they’re still so pretty. They’ve been waiting for a good project like this!

Yay – everything about these is lovely. Might have to try this somehow.
What a great idea! I was just trying to find something to label my herb garden. So much better than yogurt lids and Popsicle sticks.

Wow! Seriously impressed.
I love Esther’s work. She’s amazing!
These remind me of Jamie Oliver’s scrapbook in his show Jamie At Home.
What a great idea – I agree it is a bit like the jamie oliver scrapbook
