looolo for a good cause

looolofund
i love design, but even more when it’s for a good cause. so i was happy to hear from joanna at looolo about her fundraiser for the montreal children’s hospital. joanna spent some time at the hospital when she was a child so she felt she should give back- so, she’s listed 3 beautiful pillows from looolo‘s new linen collection ( a 100% organic linen collection stuffed with organic cotton lined kapok filled inserts) on ebay. bidding starts at $100 and all of the cash from the highest bidder will go directly to the montreal children’s hospital (shipping will be covered by looolo). so, if you’re in the market for some beautiful pillows and helping a good cause, click here to start bidding. thanks, joanna!

Those pillows are beautiful. Too bad I don’t have $100 to spare right now.

Sara

Beautiful!

Would love to know who makes the loveseat and chair.

Lynn

Those pillows are so pretty — and that’s super generous of Looolo!

Valerie

Beautiful ruffled black cushions. The ruffles are so dramatic on the plain background.

I’m a men, so, I didn’t saw the pillows.
But I liked the chairs very much! I even thought that the looolo site was about the chairs…

Thanks for the lovely comments! The chairs are in a friends house and they are vintage Scandinavian which have been recovered in a beautiful velour fabric. I could not even begin to tell you where to find these as they are a family heirloom! Trust me, I wish they were mine!

Chris

The chair and settee are designed by Finn Juhl and executed in 1953, in Denmark, by cabinet maker Niels Vodder. The model is NV-53. Both are extremely rare, the settee especially so. The chair sells for $3,000-4,000, depending on condition, while the settee has been known to sell for $6,000 and up. Your friend is quite lucky to have such beautiful and valuable family heirlooms!
