when i was in boston this weekend i stopped in black ink in beacon hill and picked up a handful of rubber stamps and a roll of purple lace tape from tapeswell. i’m sort of a sucker for random packing accessories so it was excited to find a new way to dress things up when i mail them. in addition to the purple lace, tapeswell makes cute envelope wraparounds, decorative packing tape, and mailing label tape. i’m partial to the envelope wraparounds, but you can view the full collection right here. (each tape roll sells for between $7-$20 each)
i also wanted to share these adorable bird screen prints from fanny shorter at boxbird. they seem so sweet and small, i have the urge to give each of them a name and find a place for them above my bed. each print is around 8×10 inches in size and is available right here at birdbox uk.

Love the birds too. I can never get tired of them. I can get tired of the cockatoos that are outside right now though – ow my ears!!!
I love the line and texture on the birds–so much detail. I have also begun to love random mailing accessories–I found some great alphabet stamps recently, and I love sticking them on packages!
