in one of katie’s guest blog posts this morning she linked to j. morgan puett‘s interiors and i’ve been drooling over the site ever since. hello, rooms of my dreams. i’d like to take a nice long nap and read a good book in each one. click here for more interior dreaminess.

Welcome home BTW!
These rooms are so nicely worn in and inviting. The big outside tent looks pretty fun too!
the last one reminds me of my grandma’s old farmhouse, and i can almost smell something delicious cooking through that window. this post just confirms how happy i am we’re finally getting some porch-sitting weather!
The rooms of one’s dreams? Really? While these spaces definitely have a nostalgic, old-timey charm and make for beautiful photos, they seem to me quite dusty and uncomfortable for actual use. Is rustic the new modern?
i hope so. i’m ready for a more rustic look- i’ve been searching for great rustic homes to share for months- they’re tougher to find.

Congratulations and welcome back!
I loved this post, Grace. Rustic isn’t for everyone, but I think some primitive pieces with history have the ability to soften the sometimes sterile look of modern design. Thanks for the into to J. Morgan Puett.
Something about this picture stirs my heart and makes me dream of heaven and the past. Oh, lovely.
I’ve always dreamt of living in a tent or a teepee….that would be the life…except I’d need a kitchen and I think that would be one serious safety hazard!
J.Morgan Puett seems elusive. I have looked at what little there seems to be about her. Love the aesthetic of her work
