i’m about to hop on a plane down to georgia for the wedding but i wanted to add some beautiful pieces i saw on brent hardy-smith’s new blog- illustrated in full colour throughout. brad started his blog with the task of finding 100 illustrated gems as part of his masters degree research and in the process, the site has taken on a life of its own. i’m sure brent will find more than 100 beautiful pieces (like the wizard of oz illustrations below)- i’m already smitten with most of the pieces on there. click here to check out his site!
ps: there are more posts coming up today! i pre-loaded them this morning so i could fly without worrying about posting. the site will continue like normal this week, i’ll just be posting from savannah instead of brooklyn. also, i’ll be twittering from savannah, sharing pictures and info on my favorite southern design (and wedding) spots.
[pps: if you're in savannah, come see us at the scad panel today at 4pm at red gallery!]

ooh! i have ‘peer gynt’ from the same collection as ‘the nutcracker’! it was given to me as a christening present (with vinyl record too) in 1975. :)
have a safe trip!
grace congrats! I will also be in Savannah on Sat for a girls getaway. No wonder it was difficult to get a B&B room. Happy Wedding!
