I started with a free intern from the local Art Institue in Portland. She randomly walked into my studio one day, just taking a look at my jewelry---we got to chatting, I found out she needed an internship, and I interviewed her on the spot. She said the Art Institute is CONSTANTLY looking for micro/small businesses where their students can intern. In the 3 months she has worked with me, I have found her help to be so darn valuable, that I hired her part-time.
