i’ve always been a sucker for beautiful packaging, so when it comes with an affordable price tag i find it hard to say “no”. mandi at shoestring home sent over these gorgeous lucia soaps from her shop and i’m already imagining making cute housewarming gifts with them. i’d love to wrap them up with a cute tea towel in a matching color- they’d be a fun way to say “welcome home” or “thanks for having us over”. each bar is $11 right here (you can choose from a single bar or 6 guest soaps for that price, fyi- the packaging isn’t pictured). thanks, mandi!
[ps: thanks so much to jena at modish for including me in her new biz tips site!]

These are truly beautiful! I wouldn’t want to unwrap them!
gorgeous.
Love the William Morris pattern on No. 2. The typography is gorgeous!
lovely. the only problem is, i would never want to unwrap it!
All the patterns are beautiful, I specially like No. 1. Totally love the font.
ooooo! these prints are beautiful, very sweet and feminine.
Those are wonderful!
Oh, they’re gorgeous! Especially #2!
So gorgeous. I have really pretty packaged soaps from Fresh and I can’t bring myself to open them. I have friend named Lucia and these will make a perfect gifts
I’m with the 2 Sarah’s – too pretty to open!
Those would make beautiful housewarming gifts. Are the soaps inside as pretty as the wrapping?
Any idea who the designer is? I’m always interested in who is responsible for good packaging..
love these! does anyone have contact info for wholesale? cant find a distributor online for Lucia – thanks!
They only have 5 of those beauties up for sale! Do you know anything about the other 3?
These are great. Any chance I can get the hi-res images so I can submit them to some packaging design blogs? Email me using the info in my comment. Thanks,
I just love these creamy soaps I sell them in my shop. I reuse the paper in collage work.
All the patterned paper used in the packaging is from http://www.papermojo.com
#7 looks like a snow and graham paper. beautiful!
what great packaging! thanks for the link megan.
cute patterns!!
This is terrific, Grace! I had to drop everything to post this up on thedieline.com – I absolutely love this kind of packaging :)
$11 is a bargain for soap?
$11??? ouch!!!
just curious- what’s up with all the “just-saying” comments?
i always wonder why people don’t use their real names when they’re leaving comments. especially when this ip address matches several other comments using a name and email address….why anon now and not the other times?
Allie,
If you’d like any of the other three that aren’t currently available, let me know. I simply chose the 5 that appealed most to me when I bought them for the store. Thanks for your interest.
I love them!! they would look great as a display on my bathroom shelf! I really like this new trend for soaps (like the Claus Porto): beautiful and not “old lady” style.
beautiful…I also love these from a Portuguese manufacturer that dates back to the 1890´s with designs from the orginal soaps…still made all by hand! This “mariposa” design is from the 1920´s.

here is the link!
Yes, you’d definitely want to leave these wrapped. Someone should create reusable soap packaging…
This (gorgeous!) soap packaging is all over the blogosphere right now, but shockingly, it seems that there are no designer credits listed anywhere…
The decorative papers shown above have the following credits (left-to-right, starting with the top left) ::
1. Snow & Graham Designer Print – Ivory Pattern
2. Rossi (A. Cartotecnica) Florentine Print – Citrus Flora
3. Morning Glory Print – Papaya Orange (Indian Handmade)
4. Wooster & Prince – Thompson in Wine & Pomegranate
5. Wooster & Prince – Lattice in Brick
6. Chiyogami Japanese Print – Flower Power in Purple & Pink
7. Snow & Graham Designer Print – Grace’s Pattern
8. Wooster & Prince – Damask Print in Kiwi
I’d love more information on who designed the labels… and whether or not the above designers/paper brands will be (or are) credited by Lucia Soaps anywhere?
Readers should be aware that allegedly several of these soaps utilize packaging designs that are in violation of registered trademarks; some designs have allegedly been reproduced without license or the express permission of the designers that hold the trademarks.
hi buster
do you have any documentation or reporting on this? we take claims of copying seriously and want to make sure there’s documentation of any legal action against companies, rather than claims made without support.

Any idea where I can find a supplier or wholesaler? These are gorgeous and would look fantastic at our shop!
cheers.
Hi Natalya (and others that were asking!)
Keena Co. represents this line…hope this helps :)
Hi,
I am looking for someone who sells these soaps in Canada, more specifically in Vancouver BC. I am in love the goats milk one. I do not want to pay more in shipping than for the actual product though.
Any suggestions?
Does anybody have a workable link for Keena Co or a phone number?
