i’m loving these wire sculptures from french designer catherine gontier. the way she plays with emptiness, line and light is so nice that it makes me want to clear off my walls and decorate them with just a few key pieces from catherine’s collection. sadly catherine doesn’t have a site as far as i can tell, but you can shoot her an email right here if you’d like to purchase or inquire about her work. thanks, catherine!

[ps: stay tuned for a special edition of under $100: pets! at 12pm today]

I’d love to see more of Catherine Gontier’s work, but my mail program doesn’t sync with the link. Can you provide her email or phone?

I love the minimalism of the art as it allows you to fill in your own representation of each piece!! Where can you buy her work? Thx

Very beautiful but kind of a rip off of

these are fantastic. the bra and underwear piece are too funny! this is a difficult medium, but the artist pulls it off quite gracefully.

Amy

i love these combined with lights…i’ve been playing with rice paper and wire in an attempt to create a lamp shade…a safe distance from the bulb/s, of course.

I don’t know if I will be able to resist to post about it … thanks for this great discovery

The thing I love the most about wire sculptures… they are pencil drawings in 3D. Beautiful!

Shelley

These are amazing! Sophisticated & fun, at the same time & as Toni said, very much like pencil drawings in 3D.
